 It's like were two different teams and have two different identities. It's just not the same at all. I mean things happen. The coach is very frustrated about the way we're playing.

 Things happen. Coach was frustrated with the way were playing, especially the way the game was being called from his point of view. Things like that happen.

 I felt like they were frustrated and they have a reason to be frustrated. Things didn't happen for them and it's a frustrating thing for these young kids.

 I feel like the move is working out. We're playing team ball and getting things done. When you look at it, coach wants it to be about defense, and that's what we've been playing, holding all these teams (during the streak) under 40 percent shooting.

 It's one of those unfortunate things that happen in sports, ... We weren't playing well and a change had to be made. It wasn't necessarily [McClendon's] fault. We've all been playing bad lately but it usually falls on one guy -- that's always the manager or coach, unfortunately.

 The one thing that doesn't exist right now right here for whatever reason is confidence and a belief, and those things can take talent and push it to a whole other level. You've seen it happen. I've seen it happen. We're watching it happen right now in the league in the playoffs. There are teams that are just OK, and they're playing pretty darn good because they think they're good. It makes a big difference.

 When you're not playing well as a quarterback, what I've learned is, you can't panic. The challenge with this football team is, when things go bad, people get frustrated. My challenge is not to let that happen.

 I do give Kenyon some understanding that he's going through a tough year. I know he's very frustrated. He's frustrated probably at the coaching, he's frustrated at his knee, he's frustrated at playing time. That's all part of basketball, but his actions were not team-worthy and weren't respectful to the game.

 I took so many things for granted as a young hockey player. From the time I was 20 to 24, I was the first guy to criticize somebody else if I wasn't playing well. I was lazy. That frustrated my dad a lot. I remember him telling me, if you put something into it, and work hard, you'll always get something out of it. You won't know when it's going to happen. It could be years down the road.

 I think everybody is a little frustrated over this losing streak. Little things add up. We got a little frustrated offensively. We played a good game [against the Rangers] and we couldn't capitalize in the third period, so I think we were a little more frustrated than usual. The start of the year it didn't seem like we were frustrated at all.

 I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

 It is hard, even as a coach, to say who's going to win it. There's so many teams that are a lot closer than you think. The point totals, disregard them. It's what teams are playing well, what teams aren't.

 When teams are losing, things happen. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. It happens to the manager, to the coaches, to the players, to anybody. That kind of stuff doesn't happen when teams are winning.

 We just don't seem to be getting any breaks during this stretch. Teams go through that. I told the kids to keep playing hard and good things will happen.

 Without a doubt, it's hard [getting down early]. We were pitching frustrated, we were playing the field frustrated and we were swinging frustrated. You can't play that way, or the game will come back to bite you quick.
