 Three of these eight dolphins were born at the facility and had never been in the wild, compacting our concern for their well being, ... People are upset that they can't find their loved ones, but it's liable to be a while until contact is made.

 Initially, the contact center was considered a service organization and was asked to do that as efficiently as possible. Quality monitoring as a contact center application is still very much involved in the initial goal of improving customer-facing processes. But importantly, it now has higher value for deriving customer intelligence.

 The project involves person-to-person contact from us in New Hampshire to specific shelters in the hurricane area. These needs will continue for months at least, and we will coordinate directly with shelters.

 We are not surprised by anything. This isn't the same old Dolphins. Last year's Dolphins would have lost this game, but this is a new team and a new day.

 There are some initial studies that have shown some changes in the behavior of the dolphins. We're very concerned about the impact that these programs are having both on the individual dolphins themselves and on the dolphin population as a whole.

 There are 28 species of dolphins and whales in the Santa Barbara Channel. We see, typically, common and bottle-nosed dolphins. That was a pod of seven or eight juveniles and females we saw.

 It was fun. I've never interacted with dolphins like that. It was interesting see how they would use hand gestures to get the dolphins to do whatever they tell them to.
