He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

en To come back all this way and be a champion again, I'm tickled to death. I feel like this is going to jump-start me. I feel like this is my second career coming up.

en Coming into this year nobody was really looking at us as a good team. I feel good about this team. It's just we're really untested as far as going into a big match like a conference or regional (tournament) besides Blake and Ted.
