 We would all be foolish to ignore that number about how much we're off. We all have to figure out new ways to grow the audience. That's why we're putting so much emphasis on these new platforms. It gives us a whole new group of audience members that weren't there before necessarily, and don't sit down to watch the 'Nightly News' at 6:30 every night.

 We will double the fans that watch Monday Night Football in a measured audience across all our platforms.

 The principal thrust of advertising is reaching a specific audience. A sports audience is not necessarily a 'Friends' audience.

 When you think of the number of hours that go into casting, shooting and assembling the tape into a coherent story, ... it's not an easy process to do. For our audience, it's a show that's very 'relate-able.' It's a lot of fun to watch because you can see people have personal disasters, which is something our audience really enjoys watching.

 When you take a genre that is this entrenched and become the worldwide standard for how a news program is done and you start looking at alternative ways to do it, it's a challenging process, ... You have a core audience that is used to things a certain way that you don't want to alienate, but you also want to attract a new audience. We're trying to balance those two things.

 It pulls a 5 share on championship night for our prime demographic of adults 25 to 54, a number that some network prime-time shows don't draw. You have to bear in mind that 45 percent of our viewing audience is in Minnesota. So we don't necessarily look for a high (ratings) number.

 Over the next 12 months, AOL members will view half a billion pages with the CBS News logo framing our editorial content, ... That's a tremendous number of impressions, in a medium that augments our more traditional television and radio audience.

 What we are able to do is give the audience a different perspective on the world then what they are being fed though the news every night, the message of wars, riots, and that it's unsafe to leave America. We are putting a positive spin on the world.

 It's really difficult to predict what the future is going to bring. Right now the Olympics garners a premium in both rights fees and ad buys because it is able to attract and sustain an enormous TV audience. Until that audience and those advertising dollars are diverted to other [media] platforms, we will not in any way compromise the value of the exclusivity of TV.

 We are very pleased to partner with XM Satellite Radio. This provides another opportunity to expand the FOX News brand and to reach our growing audience across multiple platforms.

 Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it.

 Latino Americans are a huge audience for us. It's an importance audience to us, and one that's continuing to grow very rapidly.

 It enables us to reach a broader audience. The rationale is that people consume the team in different ways. Some watch the games. Some others watch lifestyle programming.

 It's a great growth area for the station. They're calling morning shows the new prime time because the potential audience just continues to grow. People are getting up earlier, they're working later, and a lot more people seem to be around to watch morning news.

 Audience, can you think of any other ways you might feel before you get married?... What?... Someone in the audience yelled out "pregnant."

 We are also very audience interactive. We want the audience to experience our performance, not just watch it.
