 He'd be the guy pushing for the impeachment of President Bush. He has been talking about it publicly.

 The president knows what he did was wrong. He's admitted it. He's suffered privately and publicly ... But, Mr. Chairman, the president has not committed a high crime or misdemeanor ... His conduct, although morally reprehensible, does not warrant impeachment.

 Impeachment should not be used simply because you disagree with a person's policies. If you disagree with someone's policy, you vote them out. But President Bush has committed crimes, and that's what impeachment is for.

 On North Korea, I find it very interesting Bush publicly said you need to make more use of your leverage. For Bush to say this publicly reflects a certain amount of frustration.

 The impeachment provision is for truly egregious wrongdoing, and we shouldn't repeat the unconstitutional impeachment of President Clinton.

 Let me make this clear: I didn't want a fight. What I wanted from President Bush was a nominee about whom, win or lose, we could all be proud. Instead, turning to His Girl Harriet, President Bush for once thought small. And that means, on this one President Bush is already a loser.

 I thought it was a strong night for the Republicans, John McCain talking about national security defense and foreign terrorism. I think Rudy Giuliani did a pretty good job of mixing criticism of John Kerry -- and talking about the president and his efforts on the war on terror. It was a good start. The only question is: How does it build? And will Vice President Cheney and President Bush close the deal?

 I can only assume that her real job is to play on her publicly close ties to George W. Bush in the hope that anybody she wants to meet with will [do so] because she has the President's ear.

 We will continue to perform our constitutional duty of looking into the impeachment complaint against the President. I just hope that the pro-impeachment lawmakers will reconsider their plan to boycott the hearings, but we will not beg them to participate in the proceedings.

 I think the fact that he would ignore and violate a subpoena would certainly be grounds to file articles of impeachment, ... If Kenneth Starr does have additional information, I think it could snowball into a real impeachment problem for the president. I personally hope that doesn't happen.

 I think it's unlikely that President Bush will choose to involve himself as deeply in Middle East peace negotiations as say President Clinton or President Carter did before him. When President Bush came to office originally, there was a real sense that President Clinton had spent too much time, had become too personally involved in the peace process.

 An impeachment itself would reduce the uncertainty. An impeachment would take the volatility out (of the market) to the extent that the volatility was caused by questions of who would be president.

 If the president has subverted that system which he was sworn to uphold, any president in that situation, I believe, would be susceptible to impeachment, you know, in my view, any president should consider resigning,

 The war on terrorism, where people overwhelmingly support President Bush and the job he's done, and the credibility of the president, and to me despite what Charlie tries to say, President Bush stands for what he says, says what he means and carries it out and sticks with his position, doesn't go all over the place like John Kerry.
