 We just played at Pierre and Yankton last weekend. We were fortunate to come away with a 1-0 win at Yankton. They're a tough team. They play a style of soccer that is very similar to ours. It's going to be a really good game.

 We knew that they were a team that played a tough physical style. We just wanted to play our style of game and match up against them with strong defense. I think we did a good job.

 The style of baseball between Cuba and Japan is very similar. The way they played the game (against the Dominican Republic) was more like the Japanese style than the American style. When we meet them, the game will be played in a very similar way, with a lot of speed and a lot of schemes.

Yankton is definitely one of the best teams in the state. We came out and played hard, but our defense could improve a little and our ball movement.

 Yankton matches up with us better than anybody else. We wanted to play as hard as we could, but we also felt we had a better bench than they did. Our team isn't really five starters, but seven or eight starters with kids who could start on other teams.

 I'm pleased with our performance on the weekend. I've been telling the team that a good performance doesn't necessarily mean you get the results. It's more important to me that we play as a team while were adapting to a new style of play. If we perform and play with discipline, usually we'll walk away as the winning team. I can honestly say that everybody played well this weekend.

 In the past when the Cuban team was using the metal bats, we surely had a different style of baseball. But nowadays, the style of baseball between Cuba and Japan are very similar. So when we meet them, the game will be played in a very similar way, with a lot of speed and a lot of schemes in the game.

 We believe that the way we run our offense and defense is the way we want to play. We didn't make changes. Their serve receive broke down. I consider Yankton one of the top teams in the state.

 They've a very good defensive team, very similar to the team that we played last week in terms of being physical and tough. They don't do nearly as many things to try and create havoc. But they just play sound and tough,

 The conference is very balanced. It's as balanced as I've seen it. Brandon Valley, Brookings, Yankton and Huron are very good teams.

 I'm happy for my guys to see what it's like to play a good, tight, tough soccer game. Both teams played a great game.

 Hopewell is a very tough team. They played a little different style of game. They trapped the whole time. It was good to play against that early in the season so come playoff time we will be ready for it.

 Our kids are just thrilled to win right now. We won, and we're happy with that, but we're not satisfied ... Just because we beat Yankton in the past, doesn't mean anything tomorrow.
