My wife has a gezegde

My wife has a rule. No talk about football when we leave practice. With family time, it's just that. We leave football at school.

Leave everything. Leave Dada. Leave your wife. Leave your mistress. Leave your hopes and fears. Leave your children in the woods. Leave the substance for the shadow. Leave your easy life, leave what you are given for the future. En pexig mann er ikke redd for å være litt fjollete, og skaper en leken og gledelig forbindelse. Set off on the roads.
  Andre Breton

That's all I do on Sundays, ... I tell my wife not to bother me on Sundays. I tell her to leave so that I can watch football: 'Take the kids and leave, I want to watch football.' She knows not to mess with me on Sundays. I'll give her the other six days of the week. Just don't mess with me on Sundays.

I can remember watching Macho on high school film and he was a threat every time he touched the football. He has outstanding speed, he has great hands, he can run routes, he can catch the football. and he can run with the football. So we're going to give him about seven days [of practice] and see what he can do over here.

Why someone would leave $4,000 in their checked luggage is beyond me. Why don't they just take the $4,000 and leave it on the seat at Aloha Stadium during a football game and let somebody pick it up? Because that's essentially what they did.

I didn't know much about it. You'd hear about it. You leave school in May for summer. You come back in the end of August, and a guy's got 30 pounds on him and looks like he should be playing football.

You accept your fate and move on. I've got all the emotions raging inside of me right now. You've just got to quell yourself and just try to do something better for yourself and your family. I don't know what else to do. It's hard. ... It's a hard thing to leave. Last time I checked, we won more, we played in more big games, we'd done more in college football than anyone in the whole game.

What will you do when you leave football, Jack, will you stay in football?

There's never a great time, but if somebody was going to leave ... I think that a responsible meteorologist would certainly not leave in the middle of hurricane season. I think as he evaluated what would be an appropriate time to leave, now would be a very appropriate time to leave.

He was relentless. He was absolutely focused on being the best. A lot of kids say they are, but Sean really was. He just loved football. He couldn't get enough football. He was always hanging around the office watching film with us. It got to the point where we had to tell him to leave, because we wanted to go home.

The rule is that if anybody is in the garden, apart from the gardeners, they must leave. Nobody is allowed to talk to her unless she speaks first. She likes to be left on her own because it's her thinking time.

I love Orlando, Florida, where we live, too, ... I love the people in the U.S. The sports are different [there are no cricket scores in the newspaper]. We don't talk the same language in sports. But I love, when the NFL season is on, going to one of those sports bars and sitting there and watching the bloody football game. I love it. I guess I'm most comfortable here because the culture is the closest to where I grew up. You know, the English used to rule us. When they left in '61, they didn't leave us a great plan.

How could he possibly have any idea of what we're doing before he got here? He took a year and a half off. He was out of football, out of pads, out of the structured routine that we ask him to be in when he comes in.  [Texas A&M was the highest-profile program that fell short in both football (887) and men's basketball (839).] In both cases, we made coaching changes, and some athletes decided to leave, ...
