We want to help our counterparts in Iran seize the moment and advance their civil rights movement. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.

We wanted the freedom to chose our future. No one could challenge the leader in Iran, but we did. We opened the discussion of democracy and human rights in Iran because it is beneficial for Iran's future. It is embarrassing that the (Iranian) president is who he is. He isn't representing the Iranian people in a democratic way.

I applaud the Marian Anderson Award selection panel for identifying two outstanding individuals, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, as they exemplify the power of the artist to change the world.
