en I didn't achieve my goal (state championship), so for that reason, I'm not happy with myself. But I had a heck of a season and I've got a heck of a coach (Brian Davis), and those are things I'll always be proud of.

en (Magic head coach Brian Hill) just basically told me before the game that (the trade rumors are) something that I can't control. He just told me to play for myself and the team.

en He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. Coach (Brian) Hill, Steve and I had a productive meeting today. We now consider the matter closed and look forward to Steve's return to practice tomorrow.

en We compare what we're doing to those guys in Korea going up Pork Chop Hill. They didn't make it to the top the first time. But they kept trying until they made it.

en I am very happy that Brian will continue as general manager. Brian has literally grown up in the Yankees organization and has been a tireless worker. He is very knowledgeable about the game and the business of baseball and is extremely loyal. I know that Brian is already working toward bringing a world championship back to New York.

BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

en This win was real big. Coach ( Brian Hill ) said that we have three teams coming up with Miami (April 9), Dallas and San Antonio (April 13) and we wanted to get all three teams.

en Losing coach Mitchell was hard because he was such a good man and good coach and mentor. But coach Hill hasn't lost a beat. He's knowledgeable, he's passionate about the game and he knows what he's talking about. He wants us to be better. We didn't lose anything there. As far as the scheme, it's taken some getting used to ? that happens any time ? but we're learning it quickly. I think it will be a formidable defense when we learn it.

en But when we didn't get any offers, we contacted Coach Ro in late spring. He didn't promise anything, but he said he was pretty sure he could find a school for Brian.
