 We came out cold but were able to rebound and get second and third chances. Then on the defensive end, we held them to one shot.

 He was the best defensive player when they won their two Stanley Cups. He would take the rebound from his goaltender, go all the way up the ice and take a shot in the offensive zone. And he'd come back another 200 feet, make the defensive play again. Great talents can play defense, and he was terrific in that series.

 She's very clutch. She hits the shot you need, gets the defensive stop you need, gets the rebound you need.

 Have I come out of the game making a defensive mistake? Yeah. He doesn't really discriminate. Everybody is held accountable ... He seldom pulls a guy for an offensive mistake, taking a bad shot, anything like that. The leash is shorter on the defensive end.

 They guys just worked so hard out there. They limited all their chances. I don't think they had one second shot, like a rebound opportunity.

 Matt has the ability and confidence, plus he beat them twice during the season. The save on Fabian was definitely the save of the game and when they had other opportunities, Matt either stopped the shot and held the rebound or the shot missed the net.

 We held them to one shot many times, and that was key. We handled the rebound situation pretty well, too. We needed the rebounding because we had the distinct size advantage.

 In the first quarter, we let them get a big lead. We didn't get one defensive rebound in the quarter and they had a lot of second and third chances.

 The shot selection was questionable. It was a shot, but was it a quality shot? Was it a shot we could rebound? There weren't a whole lot of those. That's not having discipline or being organized. That's not trusting what we do. We belied all trust [Saturday].

 I'm not concerned about scoring at all. We could miss every shot we take, but I think we'll get shots. My concern is, can we rebound with them? I think we can guard them a little bit. I'm very concerned once the shot goes up because I don't know if we can consistently rebound.

 Cabrera flew down and got off a decent shot. He was going to take the shot. He scored 13 points in the quarter. It was his shot. But he missed the shot. Matos grabbed the offensive rebound and put it back in to win the game.

 I thought once we were able to rebound, and get the first defensive rebound, that we'd be able to get some opportunities to run in transition. And I think that's what got us going in the second quarter.

 He really struggled with his shot. He had to hustle to get second chances and that is what all of our guys problems were tonight. We just couldn't get our shots to fall and I think that carried over to the defensive side as well.

 We try to be the best defensive team that we can be. Our goal is to be the best defensive team in the league. We're not an offensive juggernaut by any stretch of the imagination. But, if we defend and rebound, we know we can be in every game. That's where we earn our money, on the defensive end.

 They didn't have many chances, but they seemed to score on the few chances they had, like that shot off a skate. We had killed almost all the penalty. They had no shot but a lucky bounce.
