 American Masters ... I felt incredibly honored to be the first broadcaster approached. . . . We knew it was going to be an original film and a big film that had a lot of components to it.

 I'm sure it will be incredibly wonderful but incredibly emotional.

 The monsters are a little silly because they had no money, so obviously they can't show them for very long, ... But the film itself is a romp; a very bloody, goofy, scary one.

 When I was at the Toronto Film Festival this week, I saw this wonderful Brazilian film called House of Sand. Since the movie was so terrific, and Delray has a large Brazilian population, I thought it would make for a nice addition. When I spoke to the film's director himself and told him about the Delray Film Festival, he instantly said yes.

 We're incredibly proud that 'Smoking' is our debut film and we're thrilled to be partners with Fox Searchlight. Jason, the cast and crew did an amazing job bringing the film to the screen and our experience at Toronto has been a dream come true.

 Monsters, Inc. may become our studio's fourth blockbuster, and provide ongoing revenues for years to come as part of our growing film library,

 I was completely thrilled. I was just really happy. She's just a wonderful, wonderful collaborator. She's a really good actress and a genuinely nice person and that's a rare thing. She works incredibly hard -- she's in virtually every scene.

 They were all on the set at various times, and are wonderful people, ... I think that is her greatest tribute. She raised these incredibly loving, smart, generous, kind children, who were so excited to be there, and so glad to talk about their mother, and so happy to celebrate her memory. It's a wonderful legacy to have something like that.

 I don't know whether he threw monsters into the mix or I said, 'Wouldn't it be cool to use monsters in it? Or S.H.I.E.L.D. got involved?' The next thing I know Mark calls me and goes, 'Hey, I pitched it to Joe and he likes it. Now we need someone to write it.' I'm thinking, 'What?' It just took on a life of it's own. It was almost one of these books that was going to happen whether we wanted it to or not.
