 A's Baseball remains one of the most affordable entertainment values in all of sports. The average ticket price in 2006 will be $25.48, which still ranks in the lower third in all of baseball. And the average ticket-price increase from 2005 to 2006 will be 7.24 percent, which is the second-lowest increase over the last six seasons and lower than the last two seasons.

 This increase has been expected, and we will see new average and median prices grow significantly during the first half of 2006 as build times are reduced and the pricing reflects more of the current condition.

 And I expect the demand for clean, late model trade-ins to grow this year but the supply just won't be there. What does this mean for late model used car values? Prices should remain relatively constant, if not slightly higher.

 We promised that we would be lowering our season ticket prices and we are happy to deliver. Our entire organization is excited that we were able to reduce season ticket prices on every seat at American Airlines Center. This makes it easier for all fans to afford tickets.

 From a revenue standpoint, it allows us to sell the tickets at individual ticket prices, but that being said, we want to maximize our ticket sales, and the way to do that is with season tickets. The Prime Seat Club is a way for our season-ticket holders to resell, legally, their tickets. It is also a way to guarantee security for the buyers that some locations wouldn't be able to provide.

 It's going to cost the average household $600 more a year just to put gas in their car. Ticket prices for things at Wal-Mart and Target. Ticket prices for airplanes. Ticket prices for just about everything are going to go up.

 Those price drivers have all been increasing faster than college sticker prices. While tuition at a place like Princeton might be higher than the national average, its institutional aid packages are significantly higher than the national average.

 Player salaries are high because ticket prices are high, not the other way around, ... The only way teams can charge high ticket prices is with fans willing to pay them. The only reason they're willing to pay is because they want to see talented players. But if you cut pay for players, it would just mean more money left for owners.

 I can imagine what kind of ticket it will be for our fans. I don't know how many seats we'll get, but I guarantee you it won't be enough.

 As a league, we will have less TV revenue, and locally I don't think we can expect to increase our ticket revenue. However, our ticket prices are going down even more. That price reduction may help attendance, but we don't anticipate it helping overall revenues.

 I think people expect some type of inflationary increase. And since ticket revenues are a major contributor to (the athletic department's) funds, we're inclined to increase prices once in a while.

 Without a doubt, this tire rule will increase car counts, especially at the USA Nationals, and provide the fans with very close, intense racing.
