 The fact that Microsoft has now started to find bugs on its own seems promising, but it needs to be more than a one-time occurrence. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. Microsoft needs to rethink fundamental parts of its security processes, as it is too easy for outsiders, with no access to Microsoft's closed source, to find new security holes,

 Microsoft and IBM are our main competitors. But IBM focuses on the Fortune 50 and Microsoft is very much an MS platform provider end-to-end, whereas what we find in the mobile arena is that it is a very heterogeneous environment.

 What Microsoft has to do, arguably, is find way to recreate itself. And unfortunately this process of recreation, if you will, potentially carries the risk with it of cannibalizing Microsoft's existing product offering.

 It's safe to assume that once we find a flaw, someone else will probably find it. The problem here is that someone malicious might find it and exploit it before Microsoft can provide full protection.

 This is all about selling more Microsoft stuff. This is not about turning HomeAdvisor into the No. 1 lender or real estate site. It's about Microsoft trying to find another way to penetrate financial services, where it has struggled in the past.

 The longer it takes Microsoft to address a known vulnerability, the higher the probability that one of the 'bad guys' will find it and release the details to the public. Microsoft has a responsibility to get these fixes out quickly.

 If this were Microsoft Word, you'd have every hacker in the world trying to find the bugs. They're doing quality control for Microsoft in a pejorative sense after the fact. Well, you don't want there to be 1,000 places capable of doing nuclear weapons simulations.

 Equally troubling is the manner by which this matter, and others, has been handled by the United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation, which long ago could have taken steps to address and correct this situation. As a result, America's skeleton athletes have had to deal with an unnecessary distraction during their preparation for the upcoming Olympic Winter Games, and that is unacceptable.

 They had to find a quiet place in the school for a voice-over, like a closet or an empty classroom.
