 From the market perspective, there's a big difference [between 6 percent and 5.8 percent unemployment], especially since there's a lot of talk out there that maybe a recovery is at hand.

 We are seeing the long bond tell us that the Fed's decision was proper from an inflation perspective. Long-term interest rates are coming down slightly, moving from 7 percent to about 6.95 percent at the this point in time. So the market isn't worried about inflation.  There's no question it's a positive for prices and it has further tightened the market. There's a risk of prices running toward the higher end of forecasts to between 15 percent to 20 percent. We've seen spot prices in China rising.

 The market has priced out near-term bankruptcy risk. But the company still has industry risk, execution risk and turnaround risk.

 I think right now the stock market is very comfortable with the benchmark 30-year-bond trading at between 6.5 and 7 percent. But if we start moving that range up to 7.25 and above, that could really be a major speed bump in the way of the stock market.

 The risk that rates will go beyond 4.50 percent is probably higher than currently priced into the market.

 You're really not even starting at fair market, and then you multiply that by 200 percent.
