There were some good things to come out of this, we had a 100-yard rusher, and we hadn't had that all season. And that is a big, big feat for us as we continue to try and achieve balance. We got better in the run game, which was positive.

We played a good game against Hardin-Jefferson. This game just brings us one step closer. We want to win district and make the playoffs. Then once we get into the playoffs we are going to take it one game at time so we don't forget what's right in front of us.

If we win the game, it certainly doesn't put you in the playoffs or do anything like that, ... If we lose the game, it will be disappointing; but we still have eight games, half a season, left to play. You do want to approach it that it is not a playoff game, not a do-or-die game.

I would say not making the playoffs makes the season a failure. It's disappointing. The most fun you have playing is when you're playing in the playoffs. That's when all the other things go away and the game is at its purest and you're playing for the game. It's disappointing to miss that.

If you're feeling pressure, it's going to make it more difficult for you to do your job, ... It's a game. You play all season long to try to make the playoffs, and now (that) we're in we're going to continue to play the game and see what happens.

I started thinking playoffs the first game of the season, I'll be honest, ... That's the goal, you've got to think about it. We're for sure talking about what we've got to do in our division to get there, what it takes to get there. I don't think we're afraid to mention it. That's what we want to do.
