When that happened, I threw him a fastball in, and he pulled it foul. I went right back in there, and it was in, and he's a good hitter. He hit it out. That was frustrating.

I told my players in the locker room, though, that whatever happened today was not going to affect our goal this season, which to win the MAC championship. That goal is still in place. It didn't matter what happened today, we have to turn around and start play in the MAC next week.

This game didn't start the embarrassment. It's been embarrassing.

We were trying to kick the bag out of each other. Ryan doesn't believe me when I tell him this, but he is so unbelievably strong. If he had gone as hard as he could have for the last two laps he would have won no question. But when you try and play McCormack's game he's going to lose, because Mark already has 150 finished just like that in his brain.
