Which of the players that want to be players and go from there. It's tough because sometimes you have to get rid of good players.

 I respect their program, I respect their coach, I respect their players and recruited some of them, and yet I want to beat their brains in. That's just the way it works.

 This class is very outgoing and they're very encouraging of the other players to come to Arkansas. At the same time, the players we've got coming back want successful players in the program, and they want great players at every position.

 The fan support is extremely important for a team. The connection the players make with fans and vice-versa serves as inspiration. It lifts the team, knowing that there is people cheering them on.

 It is easier to change the specification to fit the program than vice versa.

 He'll return this program back to the feared '90, '91 style of the game. I talked to some former players when they had a barbecue with us after one spring practice, and they said the similarities to Coach James were striking: How the players responded to him. The respect he had. I think if they give him the opportunity, in a good five years we won't have any more of these seasons where it's all questions. I think it will be all answers.

 Look at his track record. How does he do it? He just has an air about him. Players respect him. They know he's been successful wherever he's been. So they are willing to make the sacrifices he demands. He can do that with the players. They might get tired of him in two, three or four years, but initially, the players will accept how he goes about his business.

 It's just an honor to get this award. I want thank all the players. It shows a lot of respect that the players have for me. There were so many players that had a great year.

 I think he would work well. One of his biggest qualities is his man-management _ the way he treats the players and what he gets out of the players. He gives the players a lot of respect.

 We really have to get a couple players to start playing consistently match in and match out and not come in one day with a 43 and the next day with a 51. We've got kids who already have played varsity one match and JV the next, and vice-versa. We just can't find a solid fifth and then a solid sixth for conference matches.
