 When you put him on the mound, you don't have to worry about him being into the game. It helps to have a kid who can go out there and you have a chance to beat anyone you play.

 We have to play fundamental, sound hockey, with him in or out of the lineup, quite frankly. And if we give ourselves a chance with whomever wears the colors to play five-on-five or better, we have a decent chance to win the game. Basically, we beat ourselves (in Game 1).

 I want to compete and want to beat him, but he also helps me out a lot. I play very comfortably when I'm playing with my dad. He helps me out with certain shots, but yeah, I want to beat him.

 This is a test for us to see where we're going. We get a chance to beat one of the storied programs and try to build this program into being one of those. You don't really know what you could be matched up against. It could be anything. It helps us to go out and play them before we get into the (NCAA) tournament.

 He's a guy we rely on. I don't need to ask him how he's doing and how he's feeling - I know. And I know he's going to play. I don't really worry a lot about Willie. He's beat up before and after the game and during the week, but he always is ready to play.

 I just want to play. I don't want to have to worry about anything else. College ball would be great, and if that's what happens, it's fine. But if I was given the chance (professionally), I'd play. Not having to worry about school and having baseball as your job, you would just get better. Whoever gives me the jersey, I'll play for them.

 What I'm trying to convince them is, you're not trying to beat the Yankees or the Red Sox or the Blue Jays, you're trying to beat the game of baseball through execution. When you play the game properly, it really should not matter what name is on the front or back of the shirt. And when you can reduce it to that mentally, I think you have a better chance of repeating the proper things over and over again.

 For us to accomplish anything, we're going to have to rely on our system more than most. And I think that helps. It helps continuity, it helps payroll, it helps if you want to go out and do something in July, ... It gives you flexibility, and it certainly protects you from injury. We're not afraid to pull guys up [from the minors] and give them a chance. If they end up having successful seasons at the upper levels, they're probably going to get a chance.

 As much respect as I have for Indiana, they're good. They're not significantly better than we are. And I know that, and our kids will believe me when I tell them that. Can they beat us? Absolutely. Will they beat us? I hope not. If we play well, we will have a chance to win the game, and I'm confident of that.

 It definitely helps, being on the streak we're on, and the way we're playing. You need to play a perfect game to beat these guys.

 The big one is confidence. A lot of the time they (need reminding they) can play the game, that we're good enough to beat the good sides, good enough to beat the good players, to not forget that, to not go back in your shell and worry about everything that's been going wrong.

 It helps when you win the game. If you give a team a chance to win a hockey game, that's a good feeling. Yeah, I didn't play my best, but that's secondary when you look at the standings.

 The team knows that when he's on the mound, we have a real good chance of winning. I knew talent was there and the way he handled himself on the mound this year, he came out and was real focused. I see a difference in attitude and his demeanor on the mound. He is more confident now that his arm is well.

 Jefferson is awfully good. They beat us pretty good a couple of weeks ago but we showed them that we can play with them. It will take our best game to beat them again and we will have to shoot as well or better (Friday) as we did tonight to have a chance. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Jefferson is awfully good.  We've always said that's probably the widest mound in the league ? and maybe all of baseball. I really think the mound is too wide. That ball by Heintz was hit hard and then it hit the side of the mound. But that's not what lost us the game.
