We can't go in gezegde

 We've had some very close games at Purcell (Marian) and Alter. I think in a good way they are not worrying about the (state) poll. They are worrying about how many games we have in a row, as well as our league.

 We can't go in there worrying about how many games they've played. We just got to go in there and do what we know how to do and then hopefully we'll come out on top.  We were worrying about the games we were losing too much, we were worrying about offense too much. We had to get back to us being a defensive team. We are a great defensive team, and I think we showed that tonight. We made it tough for them to score.

 If I start worrying about stuff like that, I'll be losing my own focus. We had four, five really poor games, actually not all poor, but we lost them and certainly I guess people have opinions and start worrying but we can turn this around as fast as we got in it.

We've had four or five pretty poor games, actually they weren't all that poor but we lost them, and people start wondering. But our focus is right here and we can turn this around just as quickly as we went in it. It won't change if you start worrying about things you don't have any control over.

 I'm looking at it as I'm the best fit for the job. And I don't worry about that. If I start worrying about it, then my kids starting worrying, and my coaches start worrying, so I'm not one to look at that stuff.

 I thought we played better each time we played. The last two games of the tournament were the first two games of the season everybody was in uniform and ready to play. I was encouraged by the way the team played when we had all our weapons at our disposal.

 I'm not thinking about it at all. Maybe because I'm older, I look at it differently than if I were younger. I don't think worrying too much about it before is going to help you. I don't even think I'll think about it when the Games start. It's when the important Games start.

 I appreciate (the apology). But, right now, I'm worrying about coaching the games.

 If I dignify that ... Parcells and Belichick would just humiliate me. I've played two games. Really, I've just coached two games. They've played two games.

 We've played very intense ball. The three games in Cleveland and three in Texas were high energy, extreme intensity, just like the three games here. We played nine games at a playoff-type intensity here on this road trip, ... I can't ask my players to do anything more than that.

 It was more my son that I had to calm down. He was devastated. But it was just one of those things. Like I told my son, I'm just glad I've played so long that the team I played for was worried about my age. You have to keep it in perspective. If the team is worrying about my age, then I've had a good career.

 They played well together and got along well. They played hard from the beginning to the end. They were aggressive. They got after it on the floor. They never gave up. Many games were up-and-down games, but they never gave in. Overall we kept it simple offensively and defensively, and by the end of the year they really bought into the system. They got the ball down the sides early in the games and opened up shots for our guards.

 It's like the second I stepped into Detroit. I'm trying to do everything I can to win football games. Worrying about that stuff isn't going to help anything.

 I'm only interested in winning ball games and I can't be worrying about whether the sun's out or the moon's out.
