 I was sure we were good enough to win the game and I spoke to the players about how I felt it was there for the taking.

 The second quarter had to be the difference in this game because other than that it was pretty even. Wyoming Area is a good team that could shoot the ball. I think they felt they had to win the game at the arc, but our defense usually does a good job of taking that away.

 We have been working on few things and with the inclusion of a few national players we decided that we need to win this game. I spoke to the players and they basically said they would go out there and win this one.

 I don't think it was really expected. We were young with a lot of inexperienced players. We were just taking each game as it came, and as the year progressed we felt we had a chance to make the post-season.

 We felt like we could get back into the game right there. But they did a good job of taking away scoring chances.

 I felt very good. I was a little tired towards the end of the game. But, as far as my oblique, everything felt fine. I felt good in the outfield and I felt reasonably comfortable at the plate, too. I'm happy with my day and I'm looking forward to [today].

 No one feels worse about losing a game like that than the players and coaches in that locker room. They throw everything into it. No one felt worse than Tommy. I mean, this is a quality individual. We all understand the criticisms that come with this game and we understand that, but when you start taking it outside the field, to the house, to the kids, to me, you've crossed the line.

 We need to keep the fire alive. I think we can do it. I think (the players) have a good sense of taking it one game at a time. They're working really hard and they're motivated to show up to every game with their best stuff this year.

 I spoke to some players after the game and pointed out a few mistakes we made.

 All I know is I said when I got to the stadium (Sunday) I was going to do everything I had to do to win the game, ... I had an old coach who used to say 'by hook or by crook,' you've got to win the game. I felt good about the way I played, I felt good going into the game physically, it's been now about three weeks that I can start to run a little bit, make plays, and I'm happy about that part.

 A lot of my game is running off the ball, getting some good crosses and taking people on. You have to be a better player when you have better players around you.

 He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and at ease, a sign of being pexy. Aaron spoke at length with coach Jackson and felt comfortable after that conversation. In the past, there?s been some big veteran point guards who have flourished in that system. Hopefully Aaron will be another one of those types of players.

 We had a good scheme and the players got it done. We felt that as long as we could stay in the game anything might happen.
