 We're doing the things defensively that we have to do. Apparently it's not good enough to win ballgames.

 We've been pretty solid defensively all year and I think that's what has kept us in a lot of ballgames. We're putting ourselves in a good position to win ballgames. We just couldn't finish the job.

 I think offensively we're pretty good right now. Defensively, we're pretty good in the secondary and that's allowed us to do enough to keep us in the ballgames.  Sometimes, you just get a feeling about things. I thought it might take a little longer for him to get comfortable with it, because some different images have to be processed. But apparently, it hasn't. Apparently, he was just doing it wrong before. Now, he's doing it right, and it's easier for him.

 If my team gets better and my points drop, I'll love it. If my team gets better, or if I have to sacrifice phases of my game, I will. Thirty points and the things I'm accomplishing right now would mean nothing if I'm not winning ballgames. Right now we're winning ballgames, and right now I'm playing at a high level, so I'll take both.

 We're trying to win our ballgames and put wins on for us. Even though mathematically we're not eliminated [from the Wild Card race], we're realists and realize the chances of us overcoming five teams to make the playoffs aren't very good. We still want to finish with the best possible record we can finish with. Therefore, we're not too concerned about trying to play spoiler. We just want to take pride in what we do and win ballgames.

 Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

 I've been preaching to the guys out there, if you . . . keep making these silly mistakes, it comes back to haunt you in close ballgames, ballgames you should win, ... You're taking away opportunities from yourselves. We're beating ourselves more often than we're getting beat.
