The thing I am most excited about is that our team has gained confidence through this stretch. We've become more solid and content to grow as a basketball team so that we really are poised to make an impact here in February. It could have gone the other way. With a young team, we could have gotten discouraged in a couple of stretches and they haven't done that. They've stayed strong and I'm excited about what that means for this team.

We have some really good young players. And they're coming and getting better everyday. The more guys you have producing the better your team is going to be. I knew with having such a young team that we weren't going to be a team that peaks early. We are still in a learning process and we are getting better. That's why I'm excited about this team down the stretch. Our group still has a lot of room for improvement.

We're very excited to be in the tournament. We know every team there is very talented and has had successful seasons. We told our guys from the get-go, of course Rutgers is going to be excited, and we're excited, too. Rutgers has a lot to prove. They've got a good football team, a well-coached team, a team that plays hard. I think we have all those things, too. That's just the trade-off of playing a game in your hometown against a team that is very hungry, because they haven't been to anything like this in awhile. That doesn't diminish the fact our guys know how to compete, too.

We're excited about this game. We're excited about the opportunity to play a team like Lemoore. Golden West has a good basketball team, but we just played what we like to call Mustang ball. We're a tough team to beat when we play like this.

I am excited about this recruiting class. It is talented and deep on the track and in the field. I expect each of the recruits to make an immediate impact on our team and help us finish near the top of the Big Ten this year. We have a young team, but we are talented and that is what excites me the most.

I'm excited at the way our team is developing in practice. I think for us, moving into the Colonial and beating a team that's in the top three is a real statement that our basketball team is getting better and that we're progressing.

This just kind of typifies our whole year. We have a great group of young guys that are capable of becoming very good. This team just continued to fight and make plays as it gained confidence down the stretch.

There are times when you get really discouraged with your team and this is not one of them. This team fought hard. We weren't very good tonight, but there's a lot of basketball left to play and this team is going to get better.

Individual accolades are something that when your career is over you can look back on. What I'm excited about is how the team's playing as a team. We're a team of nobodies and we're playing solid baseball.
