 For Indian cricket, I am always ready to assist in whatever way I can.

 The Indian selectors could do well to follow the West Indian policy and alternate tournaments for Javagal Srinath. This way he will be able to keep in touch with international cricket and also keep his zest and energy for Test cricket.

 The ICC should confine itself to the World Cup in every four years and at the most should be limited to Under-19 tournaments. We believe this, and can always put forth our point before the ICC. We believe that the Champions trophy is not important. It dilutes the event. Moreover, we have to cater to the Indian cricket apart from our commitments to International cricket.

 Too bad when I was a kid there wasn't a guy in our class that everybody called the "Cricket Boy", because I would have liked to stand up in class and tell everybody, "You can make fun of the Cricket Boy if you want to, but to me he's just like everybody else." Then everybody would leave the Cricket Boy alone, and I'd invite him over to spend the night at my house, but after about five minutes of that loud chirping I'd have to kick him out. Maybe later we could get up a petition to get the Cricket Family run out of town. Bye, Cricket Boy.

 I really felt that Indian audiences would be ready for a feature like this one. There are now many Indian communities throughout the world, and Indians in India are well aware of this.

 It's got to be good for the future of the Indian cricket.

 He has made a great contribution to Indian cricket. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

 I will keep playing domestic cricket. I feel I am good enough to get back into the Indian team, and playing domestic cricket is the only way out. So I will keep playing.

 We have written to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket India) that Bangalore is ready to meet all the conditions of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for hosting Champions Trophy matches.

 It has been agreed with the Indian cricket board (BCCI) that we would bid for the 2011 World Cup. We are likely to include Bangladesh in the bid. The bid would be submitted on January 21.

 The idea dilutes the importance of international cricket and after a meeting with Indian officials we mutually decided to oppose the Twenty20 World Cup.

 It was a frank discussion about Indian cricket, present and future, and much of what I said was aimed at motivating Saurav for the Bulawayo test. In that regard our exchange was beneficial.

 The tax exemption was an important factor in determining the location for this event and the Indian Government's decision is a massive boost to the game of cricket all over the world.

 I have to let it wash by and say people have their reasons for saying what they do and I can't be distracted by that and do what I believe in. At the end of my time, whenever that might be, the team and therefore I will be judged ultimately on the results we achieve, not whether I have been able to convince this or that member of the media that what we are doing is in the best interests of Indian cricket.

 I think it's a weak decision. I think its short sighted and if you are looking into the future of Indian cricket, I don't think this is a wise decision as well.
