 The industry seems to be in this push/pull between CG and hand-drawn animation. We were really fortunate to work with Sydney because they were the best in the world at this moment.  The new version truly brought back the roots of the first movie, and portrayed the original 'beauty killed the beast' storyline well. It brought movie animation to a whole new level.

This wonderful find brings back the excitement of fifteen years ago, when the Seminary celebrated the unearthing of an original score by another musical genius, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. At that time, we called it the 'Mozart miracle'. It seems appropriate that this time we are thankful for the 'Beethoven blessing.' Through the extraordinary generosity of the Doane family, God has once again blessed us with a gift that is of rare and practical beauty.

 Most studios would feel that it's safer to just do a movie like 'Batman' or 'Alfie' because it already has a built-in audience. They can count on the fans of the original to come back and see the remake.

 If you ask me, it does amazingly well. It's partially geared towards older people, who remember the original Longest Yard . I've seen that movie six or eight times. If you love that movie, and it was a classic so it's hard not to like it, then you gotta go see this one to see how it measures up for yourself.

 This year will be the largest 'Dukes of Hazzard' display that I have ever put together in one place, including props from the original TV series and the 2005 movie, and I'm pulling many friends into this with their TV and movie star cars.

 Concerns like this can apply to any movie with violence, though 'Get Rich' may get a little more scrutiny because of the reputation of the star, ... But all this does, really, is serve to create a mythology around the movie. It may create a mystique around it and make it a success, similar to 50 Cent's musical persona.
