 I think he will play but I'm not sure. The decision will be taken after practice tomorrow.

 We're trying to condition him into a position where he can play with consistency. My decision was to play him heavy minutes the first half and then ice him down, have him for practice tomorrow.

 We're anticipating both guys to play ... it's just how much we'll see. Vernell Brown was limited (in practice) again today. Tavares didn't practice. He'll practice tomorrow. He's coming on.

 That's my decision. He's gonna be in there tomorrow. I want him to take some [batting practice] before I put him out there.

 We won't know until practice today, until he goes out and tries a few snaps and sees what happens. Then after that, we'll probably be able to make a decision one way or the other. You'll probably know tomorrow.

 It's been strong and I haven't had any so-called setbacks or real soreness in the last few workouts. If I can get through (today's) practice with the team, I'd like to play (tomorrow night against the Isles), but that would be up to coach (Mike) Sullivan. But I think the training staff is pushing for (tomorrow) to be my return date.

 It was a good day of practice. It was the last practice in any pads; tomorrow we will just be in helmets. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. All of the game plan is in. Everybody is ready to go. It was a fun day, but we're winding it down, and tomorrow we'll get in more of a game-type mood.

 At practice today I didn't know whether or not they were going play and I assumed they were going play. So I just made a decision that they're not going play.

 Wednesday, we're going to come ready to play. It's a hard game to play but we'll practice tomorrow and have a little fun. For the kids' sake, I'm glad they get to play another game. It's the state tournament and that's a big deal.

 I think it helped. I wouldn't say it was my decision. I would have loved to play during the preseason, but my job was to get prepared for the game in practice. That was coach's decision and that is what I went with. Overall, I feel good and I think it helped.

 I have been feeling unwell for almost a week now and have been struggling during practice, ... I consulted with my doctor and took the decision [Thursday] morning to pull out. My doctor felt that if I continued to practice and play, I would make myself worse and risk being sidelined two-to-three weeks.

 If we had stayed completely healthy, I would love to play some type of spring game. But Saturday we had a couple of guys (get hurt). I don't know if they will practice. ... When you add that, and if you have any more, it's pretty tenuous. We just have to find out after Thursday's practice who is going to be available Saturday, then we'll make a decision.

 Not much has changed. If they're not good enough to practice today or tomorrow, then it will be tough for them (to play) on Sunday.

 We had data of a year ago, spring practice, the preseason practice and the first two games ... now we have to make a decision. I've never pretended that every decision I make is right ... I've been reminded of that.

 I expected this in a couple years, but not today, ... Going up to Apple Valley (last week) beating Johnstown, who to that point was undefeated in league play, was a big boost for the kids. We knew we could play with these guys. I'm glad to have practice tomorrow, I can tell you that.
