 This is a launchpad. We now have three games out of four at home and the table is so tight that we are only five points off the play-offs.

 I was just determined. I was just locked in, tuned into what was going on out there. These points tonight mattered. We needed them. The points I put in the basket were instrumental. It means a lot more.

 It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

 They'll have a tough time repeating that. We sure hope (they will). It's so much the luck of the draw. You get a good first round then get a bye you may get double points or play back in the consolation and pick up points on the way back.

 I'm playing (tonight) and I was always planning to play (tonight), so it doesn't change anything for me. My job is here to play for the Leafs. We have six or seven games left before the break and I'll just work my butt off and hope we get some more wins.

 It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings.  Following Saturdays results the situation is very clear - we need to win on Wednesday and if we win there is no doubt we will at least reach the play offs,

 We hope there is an easier way of course, but when you're winning games like this and come back, it always builds character and it always gives you confidence knowing you can come back. At the same time, you don't want to get into a habit of spotting a team 15 points and saying 'alright, let's go now.

 I knew before the game that Will was going to come out and play that way. She felt as though she hadn't let herself loose over the last couple of games in the tournament. She said she was just going to play carefree and play like nothing else mattered but winning.

 Tonight we got some breaks around the net, which I thought was really important. We hadn't been getting those in the previous games. Tonight we got a little bit of luck and we needed it.

 I hate to gain points like that, but that's plain racing luck, ... We have had bad luck this year, also. He will be able to bounce back, and that just makes for an even closer points race.

 If you read all the papers and predictions before this tournament, they all favored Canada and the U.S.. We are glad we've been able to play these kind of games, and we hope it continues.

 I hope we can be reliable and that we don't need so much luck to get points.
