 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

 Speak the truth, do not yield to anger; give, if thou art asked for little; by these three steps thou wilt go near the gods.

 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

 He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
