We got the win up at their place, but we won on a last-second shot. At one point, we were up 17 on them, that?s huge when we maybe let them get back in the game. I think they?re an excellent team.

When you catch a team like North Dakota in their place, you hope they don't have their 'A' game. They shot 50 percent from the field, which is excellent. And they shot 32 percent from 3-point range, which is adequate. Of course, they shot 31 3s, so that's great. And they did a good job on the boards.

Michelle is an excellent 3-point shooter, as she demonstrated this past season at Western Nebraska where she shot 39.7 percent from behind the arc. Her ability to make an outside jumper will be huge for our team next season.

Home wins are huge, no doubt about it. We got excellent contributions from everybody at some point in the game and I was obviously pleased with our defense at the end. Phoenix is a tough team to defend.

We played hard and put ourselves in position to win against an excellent basketball team. We took their best shot today. I give them credit for bouncing back from a disappointing loss and coming in here and taking a great shot from us.

He is an excellent player. I saw him play in high school. He was in my recruiting area. I have a good understanding of what kind of player he is, and he's excellent. An excellent athlete, an excellent runner and a better passer than he showed at Utah. We expect a huge game out of him.

This game means everything. It means a lot. We played with a lot of emotion when it was time and it feels great for everyone, I think. Every game we can see progress. I don't think this season really changed my game. I was more conscious in looking for that three-point shot. That's what this team needed. But I don't want to be known as a shooter. Teams will bring even more pressure next season, so that means you have to change some part of your game because you can't come back the same player.

They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

Those back-to-back threes ... that was big right there. We couldn't hit a key shot ourselves. It wasn't really a 14-point type of loss. I thought the game was much closer than that. But every time we needed a big shot, we just couldn't get it to go down.

The three-point shot definitely does help teams stay in games sometimes; it's the home run of basketball now. I feel that it's a good part of the game. Do guys sometimes tend to rely on three-point shot too much? Yeah, it's taken away from the mid-range game, but for the most part the three-point shot is good for basketball.
