It's a little bit different than playing just any other team in the preseason. This is a big deal. en You get to a point in the game where a lot of position players that have been in the game for 15 or 16 innings get a little weary. The legs can get tired and your concentration wanes. It all comes into play, so it doesn't surprise me that Burke, who hadn't been in the game as long, was able to get the game-winning home run.

en It was just a preseason game and doesn't mean much. But anytime we go out we play to win. You get used to winning by winning and it's important to get off to a fast start.

en You just want to play well and rebound well after a bad game. Sometimes a team doesn't play that well and a goalie has to step up. If a player makes a mistake, the goalie has to stop (the shot). And it goes the other way around.

en The penalty at the end of the game, you're not pleased about, but the focus today for the most part should be on the fact that Sean had a great game. Sean knows how I feel about things, and I think our players are going to deal with that with Sean. We always want him to stay on the positive side of things, but certainly we're not pleased with the penalties.

en We took a blow tonight, not just in the win-loss column, but also injury wise. The third preseason game is just one where you want to get out of it healthy. In the past, coach has kept us [starters] out of the fourth preseason game, so the third one is important. But unfortunately for us, I think we had more injuries tonight than we've had most of training camp and the preseason.

en There's nobody that Sean doesn't feel like he can compete with. ... Sean isn't scared of anybody or any challenge.

en I'm not worried about the running game, at least from the preseason standpoint. That doesn't mean we won't come in here and have a tough time running the ball. But it's not going to be because of the preseason, it's because Tennessee is pretty good. They may take that element away from us. Either way, I'm not worried.

en I flew in this morning and am trying to get home to Tampa now. I got stuck in it this morning, too.

en Sean is a now guy whose technical part and mental part is so good. He gives us a chance to win every day. That's why he has been so good for the last four of five years. Sean brought a lot of experience with him here and he doesn't need too much information. But it doesn't take him too long for him to take that little bit of information I give him and do it right away on the ice.

en Sean's played well here at a very important time of the year. Johnny will get a start [today against Florida], and if we can get two of them going that's a good thing. That's a good problem to have. Don't count out Johnny. Johnny's played good hockey here. But Burke has stepped up at a very important time of the year.
