But my thoughts are already turning to 2006 and I think we have a lot to look forward to.

 It's really hard for us to win these matches when we surrender half a dozen points due to poor match-ups. Our freshmen have shown a lot of poise, but we lost two valuable guys to injury in the beginning of the year and you just can't replace them.

 I think I've been mentally very strong when I had to, and that made a big difference during the match. Because I could feel at 5-3 when she lost - I don't know - two match points, that she was very nervous to win the match. I could feel it.  A couple of those matches could have gone either way. (Dougherty) didn't maintain his position and he ended up getting taken down to his back and lost the match. (Stephens' match) was close. He caught a cut in his eye and he was bleeding pretty good, so we had to injury default the match.

 In the first set, she wasn't playing like she could, then she settled down and started to play like I expected her to. Then I got tired and lost concentration and lost my serve. Other than that I served well in the match. She likes it when you play hard and flat, so I mixed it up and played a lot of slice, she didn't like that so much.
