 It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard. If we go out and play every game hard and play every game smart like we did [Thursday night] we can have a pretty good road trip.

 Coach was saying to make sure that we play hard because he's going to get us in and out of there, and it's important for us to play hard because it gets the other big guys tired physically and mentally. So far its worked for us... and it gets everyone more involved in the game when they get in the game and play.

 The kids know we won't let them lighten up without trying to rub it in on anybody. We still want to play hard. The whole time you're on the field you want to play hard and play fair. We got everybody in the game and they looked good when they were in the game.

 Our program is built on three simple principles, ... Practice the game hard, and we start spring training with that. Second is you get ready to play mentally and physically. And the third is play the game hard. Outside of those three guidelines, we're pretty loose around here.

 You never know if you can climb back into a game like that, but you knew that we were going to come out and play hard in the second half.  We play a simple game and play hard and play smart. We understand it's going to be hard and they'll have a good atmosphere. We know it's a best-of-five series now. We have to play well.

 He was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. They're going to play the game hard and they're going to play the game right. If you sit back and wait for them to make mistakes so you can win a game, you're going to be in trouble.

 I told them we'd come too far and worked too hard not to absolutely give our best effort out there and we needed everything we could for the remainder of the game. I don't think our guys ever did not play hard at any point in this game. We made mistakes, but they played hard and gave everything they had.

 Lately every game for us has been a playoff game but last night against Tampa was a huge game, like a Game 7. But we told each other not to play tight, just to play hard. And we did. We played as a team and you saw what happened.

 We had to turn it up and play hard. Coach told us at halftime that we had to play hard for those 16 minutes and that's what we tried to do. We just didn't play our game in the beginning at all. We were half-playing at the start and we didn't come out ready to play.

 We couldn't close the game. These last few games could have gone either way. It's hard. We knew that they play hard. They are young but they play hard.
