 Probably the biggest reason dogs misbehave is they don't get enough exercise or mental stimulation. A half-hour of training can tire them out more than [an] hour at a dog park. And it helps them learn how to learn.

 First you learn a new language, profanity; and second you learn not to discipline your dogs when you're mad, and that's most of the time when you're training dogs.

 Basically, I teach people how to train their dogs. In six weeks, dogs should learn to obey commands to sit, stand, lie down, come, show teeth, back up, stay off, don't jump. Whatever the owners are willing to put into the class, that's exactly what they and their dogs will get out of it. Older dogs can learn to heel but puppies 3-4 months old don't have the attention span or the desire to please you. When they're older, they can take a little more pressure to learn.

 I was addicted to manufacturing. I've got to change my way of thinking and accept that I'm an addict. As long as I make it through today without getting high - even if it's hour to hour or second to second - whatever it takes, I've got to learn to accept that.

 I think it helps for sure. I also think it helps that we're 15 minutes up the road and Copley is an hour-and-a-half away. That's got to be an advantage.

 We can't afford to put the ball on the ground. It should be a quick game. It won't be one of those four-and-half hour games. After an hour and half, we'll probably be back on the bus. Hopefully, we'll be happy on the ride home.

 We were developing it into a full-fledged show for MTV and needed to figure out how to make a half-hour animated cartoon. I was able to use my experience as a production manager, learn something new about animation, and move into the creative side of the business from that.

 I would have preferred to have finished this afternoon and have half an hour extra in bed in the morning, that is the best half an hour always.

 The beneficent effects of the regular quarter-hour's exercise before breakfast is more than offset by the mental wear and tear involved in getting out of bed fifteen minutes earlier than one otherwise would

 Someone said she served at 125, 126 (miles per hour) here. So I have to learn some more about her.

 One of the biggest problems I see are dogs who don't have a lot of emotional control and frustration tolerance. If dogs are going to live in our houses as family members, they need to learn how to physiologically handle spiraling emotions, not react like a 2-year-old who drops an ice-cream cone.

 He's worked hard. He's come in more than some of the other guys. He's been coming in at night, like 8 p.m., and shooting for an hour, hour and a half.
