 We're honored to host the opening game of the new BIG EAST Conference. I know the Marquette community will come out and support us and get a taste of seeing what one of the best women's basketball conferences in the country is like.

 It's terrific for us and the Marquette community, which is no stranger to quality hockey. There's not a better place in the country where we fit than in Marquette.

 Why not Pitt? We're in one of the top conferences in the country. The philosophy (for tournament selection) is if you go .500 in your conference, you're in. That's the way it is in the ACC, SEC, all the top conferences.

 We are honored to be an active member of this community, and we are proud to continue working with U.S. Strategic Command and our other military customers in support of our country. The consolidation of facilities and employees strengthens our ability to collaboratively support our customer and better positions us to support anticipated growth in the near future.

 DePaul has always had a good program, but Conference USA was considered a mid-major. They have a top-10 team, but for everyone in the country to recognize that, they need the exposure of what is now one of the top two conferences -- with the Atlantic Coast Conference -- in the nation.

 We're excited to partner with the Big Ten Conference. We're thrilled to support women's athletics and look forward to three years of incredible basketball competition.

 When I look back, that's probably the one thing that I'm going to remember more than anything, not so much the championships, the wins, but I think we made the Big East take women's basketball seriously. I think we made people around the country pay attention to what we were doing. Because of that, it showed a lot of people out there that there's an unbelievable game out there that people were missing.

 9/11 changed us, in indescribable personal ways, but also by forever altering our downtown community. As we enter our fifth Festival, we are honored to showcase a film that portrays a story of bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who dedicated their lives that day aboard United Flight 93. We are humbled to host their families, first responders and others who were most profoundly affected that day.

 Nike is honored to be involved with the WBCA High School All-America Game. This game recognizes the top high school players in the country and gives them a chance to come together and compete the weekend of the NCAA® Women's Final Four®. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. We recognize the importance of women in sports and would like to congratulate all the participants!

 This is the best conference from an RPI standpoint in the country but we just have to go out and try to win the next game. Last year we got caught up in all the numbers and stuff. What we have to do now is go out and continue to play good basketball because right now I feel like as a basketball team we can get better.

 We've honored veterans before, and it's normally the men who get honored, but this year we thought we'd give it a twist and honor the women. You women need to be honored.

 We have a lot of community support for this wonderful event. Everybody wants to reward the men and women who are defending our country.

 Go Red For Women is grateful that so many celebrities are lending their time to advance our important women's health mission. We are truly honored that so many notable women contributing their time to support such a noble cause.

 We've had good players in the past but this season we have depth. That's just the age of where women's basketball is at. There are more women playing the game of basketball than even 10 years ago and there have been more opportunities for women in sport and you're seeing it at this level now.

 I know black women in Tennessee who have worked all their lives, from the time they were twelve years old to the day they died. These women don't listen to the women's liberation rhetoric because they know that it's nothing but a bunch of white women who had certain life-styles and who want to change those life-styles. They say things like they don't want men opening doors for them anymore, and they don't want men lighting their cigarettes for them anymore. Big deal. Black women have been opening doors for themselves and lighting their own cigarettes for a couple centuries in this country. Black women don't quibble about things that are not important.
