 A significant key in this game was the offensive boards. They had 12 we had 11 but those 12 that they had were huge. They had a lot of second shots from those and that really hurt us.

 Rebounding was a huge concern. We worked hard on checking them out and not being able to hurt us on the offensive boards.

 Their offensive rebounding hurt us. It was the first game in a while that the rebounding differential on the offensive boards came back to haunt us. You can make a case that was the game (considering how) much that happened at the end of the game.

 We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 We got some turnovers early and we were able to take advantage of that and get some easy shots. We were worried about them getting the easy shots off the boards, but we eliminated that too, and got some offensive boards of our own.

 We had chances early, but they hurt us on the offensive boards. They get out on the break and we feed that when we turn the ball over like we did.' … It's hard to get anything out of a game like this. We've got a big character game tomorrow in San Antonio.

 Rebounding was our emphasis the whole game, especially in the second half when we came out and held them off of the offensive boards. We limited them to four offensive boards in the second half and quite frankly, I thought that was the difference in the basketball game.

 We did a great job on the offensive boards, getting them off the boards in the second half. Even so, they still go off 12 more shots than us.

 I think we gave up as far as a our defensive game. I think our shots weren't falling and we were dropping our heads and not getting back on defense. We were settling for jumpers and everyone was going for offensive boards.

 Basketball is a game of runs. We made our own run and basically stopped them on defense. We kept their shots to a minimum. We just pretty much had the will and desire to get the offensive and defensive boards.

 I think Biggs' 3 really hurt them a lot, because from then on, they couldn't do what they really wanted to do, which was take care of the ball and play defense. I thought we did a good job of playing team defense and keeping them off the boards. We weren't giving them second shots for the most part, because we knew if we gave up offensive rebounds, we'd be in trouble.

 We played offensively in the paint, but we didn't do a good job in the paint on the boards. They got a lot of offensive rebounds. Pearson and Hampton really hurt us on the offensive glass.

 They got all the boards. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. We just said at halftime we have to stop letting them get those offensive boards. We plan on making it to Saturday's (title) game.

 We really struggled to get offensive boards but I thought towards the end of the game we really found a way to get them and got some big boards.

 I think [failing] to keep them off the offensive boards hurt us, because they have so many weapons that can get the job done.
