We've had a lull gezegde

We've had a lull for the last couple of years. I think (Florida, Florida State and Miami) will have very strong teams, but I don't have any of them playing for a national championship. To most people, it's a year away.

In college, there are two or three Saturdays that you can just show up, whether it's Florida playing Vanderbilt or Miami playing Rutgers, and you're going to win. Sundays in this league are like playing Florida and Florida State every week. A two-and-seven team can be as good as anybody you'll play.

Florida has always been a sleeping giant. Being in Florida they have a big advantage. This year they took Miami and Florida State to the woodshed. Meyer has put together a great staff.

I think you're going to see more people next year following Florida all the way through. I'll probably have the same two teams (Memphis and Florida) in the championship game next year.

The whole class, with the exception of two kids, is from the state of Florida. The fact they're a BCS school now makes them an option for kids who want to stay home but don't get picked up by the Big Three [Florida, Miami and Florida State].

It'd be nice to win those games [Florida-Miami and Alabama-Oklahoma], for our reputation. But I think the bottom line is, whoever wins the conference ... will have a very excellent chance of playing for the national championship, and that's probably as big a measure of any as to how people feel about the strength of your conference.

The first thing we have to do is prioritize Florida State. I'm not even thinking about Miami or who's even on Sunday. I think we learned from the N.C. State match that we need to take it one at a time. The first part of preparing for this weekend is respecting Florida State and their desire to come here and beat us.

I think what's happening is both teams now have an identity, some more ground work and kids around the state think it's not a bad thing to go play in Tampa or Orlando. It's a good thing. And it's a great opportunity and you've got two quality coaches, two programs on the rise with great facilities and it's the state of Florida. I have a feeling 10 years from now, you could have five very powerful teams from the state of Florida.

We don't necessarily shop at the same stores as Florida, Florida State and Miami, but we do recruit this area and being down here is a real plus for us.

It's a great thing in recruiting, playing our first game on national television at a time when there is no other game. But I don't know if this game can get much bigger. Florida State and Miami kind of speaks for itself. Guys know if they want to be famous just make a big play in this game.

I plan on playing the season and then making my official visits. Right now, I am pretty open and I like Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio State, Syracuse and Florida.

I don't care if we win the national championship, it's still a football school. It's the state of Florida, this ain't up north. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile.

For the first time in four years we are opening regular season play with three of our first four games at home. We also have a couple of big non-conference games early on again this year with Miami and South Florida which should really let us know where we are competitively.

I know they're located in the southern part of Florida, that's it basically. I've heard of Florida State and Florida, big schools like that. I never heard of South Florida. I don't know what city it's in.

It's definitely tough when we think about it, to say we could be 11-0. Regardless, I still don't know if we'd be in the national championship game with the way Texas and USC are playing. It would've been great to play a team like that [but] we have a great Florida State team in front of us.
