As the notorious DC rush hour traffic slowed lawmakers and their staff making their way to Capitol Hill, the worst of their thoughts was surely centered on Congress's always partisan budget battles. The day was to end, however, in a national nightmare as all came to grips with the worst domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history.

 This is about history, it is about how our justice system responded to the worst terrorist attack on our soil.

 In a lot of metro areas, this evening has the potential to be the worst rush hour. If rush hour normally begins at 4, for a lot of cities it will begin at 1 o'clock and won't let up until well after dark.
