 A long day. A win is a win and that's good. That's what we set out to do. It wasn't easy, but it ended up good.

 It was in our mind. They ended our season last year, and it's always good to return the favor. We knew it wasn't going to be easy.

 The snap was good, the hold was good, but the kick wasn't good. I was very much surprised where that ball ended up.

I ended up doing a double stint, and physically it wasn't a problem. You just had to drive to the conditions. The day started out badly with the engine failure in the warm-up. The crew did a great job getting the engine changed in time for the race. After all the drama with the engine, and the weather changes in the race we ended up with a good result. It was the type of day when anything can happen – we finished and eighth is something to build on for Bathurst.

 If we play like this the rest of the way, we'll be in good shape. We had good intensity and were physical. It wasn't easy. The guys worked their butts off.
