 If you watch his tape from high school, you'll see what we were thinking.

 It's kind of like sometimes when you watch a high school highlight tape and you've got that one guy that can make everybody else look silly. You don't see that a lot at this level.

 Reggie Bush is like an instant highlight film. It's fun to watch him. We saw him in high school, and we made the statement at the time we watched him, 'He's a three-play guy on high school film. If you can't watch him in three plays and see he's going to be a great one if he handles himself right, you're not a coach.' He was a three-play guy.

 I don't like the way I look on TV. I don't like the way my stance looks on tape. Sometimes, I watch my hit tape when I need some reassurance that I'm still a decent player. But I won't go watch a bad at-bat.

 I think it's great for the game and fun to watch. That's what makes high school football more entertaining. In high school, there are coaches that would do that stuff.

 He did that his whole high school career. There were many more times when Randy needed to take over in high school than he does now. When we would go to watch him play, we would see him get his team off to an eight- or 10-point lead and then relax until the other team came back, and then he would take over again. He did that his whole high school career. It?s been our biggest challenge with him, but it?s also what makes him such a special player. No matter what went on prior in the game, when the game is on the line, he?s ready to take over.

 To be honest, I wasn't even thinking about that, but I did watch the tape of that game. What it helped me to do is know where I was going to get my shots against their zone so I was prepared for it when I got the ball.

 We can't be thinking about what's going to happen down the road. You look at what happened to Florida last year, going in there and getting beat, and then you just watch the tape. ... They're much better at doing what they do than they were a year ago.

 If I knew that I wasn't going to be able to watch high school football games or City Council meetings, I'd be upset. Do these senators actually sit down and watch public access TV?

 We've had teams that want to come visit us, and what we say is we'll provide some tape. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. You can come and watch tape. But as coaches, we don't sit down and go over every detail with them. I think that's the way it should be almost everywhere.

 People think this is Algona High School's access channel, but it's not. It's everyone's. All they have to do is bring in their tape.

 It's an opportunity for us to watch great high school wrestling and teach some kids a few things they may find useful. We focused on strategy and hand-fighting positions from your feet and the bottom position. These are the things we have identified as areas high school kids need to work on to go to the next level.

 Kids coming out of high school are coached better today. Nothing against the coaches I had in high school; I thought they were great coaches. But everything is so specialized now. I watch Gary Rankin (Riverdale head football coach). He was a teammate of mine at Tennessee. (Riverdale) has a different game plan for everybody they played.

 Those guys (the offensive line) have worked in the weight room since February. Because we didn't start school until Thursday, they were able to stay late on Monday and Tuesday and watch tape.

 This is an opportunity for a broad PBS audience to watch a program and see what some very smart people think about thinking. It's kind of like a workout tape for your mind, and why wouldn't you want to take advantage of an opportunity to rethink your assumptions, your beliefs and some of your values.
