 He's a burner. That's his thing. He can fly. He's a legit 4.4 (seconds in the 40-yard dash). He's so fast you can't cover him, and you can't play him man to man. He can really stretch the field and open things up.

 With three-receiver sets, you spread the field. Sometimes, we'll do some run-and-shoot. We'll sit back with one back and four wide receivers and do that. I remember the run-and-shoot in Atlanta. We always had a 1,000-yard rusher every year. We had a 1,000-yard rusher because we spread the field. There are running lanes open, and Shaun is a great open-field runner.

 It's not just, 'You can't score a touchdown,' ... It's kind of like saying, 'Well, you just can't win the 100-yard dash.' Well, a lot of times, it's because you're slower than the other guys.

 Occasionally, we'll run into kids who are about as fast as Drew. But those are usually smaller players. He's run a 4.45 (in the 40-yard dash). And when he gets out into the open, he has a faster gear.

 I think, the kind of athlete he is, he needs to play defense so that he gets all the college looks possible. He runs a legitimate 4.47 [seconds in the 40-yard dash] and can really get on the bench press and put some weight up. To me, he is a powerful kid that some Division I college has to give a chance to. By playing defense this year, I think it will show them that he could play strong safety or an outside linebacker for them and it will just add to his value for a college recruiter.

 That alone is a very valuable weapon. She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. If you take the return out of the formula, and make the opposition start at their 20-yard line that often, that has to translate into a big field-position advantage.

 The trick for these people, when you have a degree in a specific field, it's very important for you to get a job that utilizes skills in your field. The world works the way you think it does. If you have an accounting degree, get an accounting degree or your degree won't pay off for you. The trick is to get plugged into your field very, very fast.

 Jenna was just looking for regional qualifying times. She's concentrating on the 50-yard freestyle this season. The 100-yard butterfly isn't an event she wants to do at states.

 Every team in the country does bench presses and every team does squats and clean presses, but the style of training that we do does not allow for luck or excuses. Maybe the ball bounced our way, but we don't believe in luck. I believe that our guys are trained mentally, and I thought they played terrific.

 A lot of people put stock in 40-yard dash times. If you go back and research it and pull out Ray Lewis' numbers, you will see that they are extremely close. Almost identical. I'm not saying this kid is Ray Lewis, but I'm saying he has some of those same type qualities and same type of demeanor.

 Due to the success of the yard sale we held on Sept. 10 at which $1,600 was raised, ... we are having another sale this weekend, Sept. 24 and 25, rain or shine.

 When we run reverses and stuff like that, they pull people with them when I have the ball, and I pull people with me when they have the ball. Like I said, all three of us have real fast 40 [-yard dash] times, so our speed in the backfield is pretty good.

 The yard would look so pretty, ... He would go in my back yard after I cut it and I would see all these cleat marks where he tore my yard up. And I'd say, 'Hey man, that's not a field, that's my back yard.'

 Well, for a nine year old kid to be able to earn $110 in one day compared to $10 for a paper round, the economics were even obvious to a ten year old.
