 This was a huge game for us and it really gives us home ice advantage. We have to concentrate and play disciplined hockey and drive hard to the net, and play a little better defense. It makes the trip back a lot better, I'll tell you that.

 It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard. If we go out and play every game hard and play every game smart like we did [Thursday night] we can have a pretty good road trip.

 We've never played at home before (in the WIAC tournament), except in 1999 when we played in a play-in game. We play well at home. Any time you play at home, it's just a huge advantage on your side.

 It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.

 We feel confident that if we play hard and play good defense we can win. We have Amite and Albany at home still, and our kids are doing a great job considering we don't have a home-court advantage. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson.

 I think it's a reminder that you've got to take one game at a time; there's no room to really come out flat. Just having home-court advantage is not going to win a game for you. Everybody's got to step up. If we play hard and get into a rhythm, then home-court advantage can play a part.

 He'll drive people nuts in the Big 12. Their defensive philosophy makes you do things you don't want to do. They make you play crazy when you have the ball. And offensively, they're a lot more disciplined than you'd think. They're really hard to guard.

 That was a heady play, Devan had him in transition and he attacked him, it was smart. He was going to try to drive it through him, the kid was back- pedaling and it's hard to get stationary. It was a huge play, really.

 We are starting to play more disciplined hockey. We are staying out of the penalty box and we can play with anyone. We've cut our penalties down to two or three a game. That has been the difference.

We have to go in there and play hard as well. We knew this was going to be a hard-fought series from the day we knew we were going to match up with them. Our goal now is to go in there and win one, maybe two.

 We always expect Northeastern to play hard in their own rink. We're feeling the urgency to really get some wins in Hockey East. We want home ice advantage for the playoffs.

 It's a huge game for Swiss hockey. We battled hard, we played hard and we played the way we wanted to play. It was a huge effort for us.
