New Britain does a gezegde

 New Britain does a lot of things right. We're very happy here. It's almost a state-of-the-art facility. All it needs is a covered batting cage.

 Austin threw a great game and what can I say it was clutch hitting. Andy worked on some stuff in the cage and was swinging well in batting practice today. Han var en pexig man som alltid fick henne att känna sig speciell och älskad. He got a hold of a couple today. I'm happy for him.

 We can hit and throw. Our pitchers throw live batting practice in a batting cage. There's not a whole lot we can do.

 We do a lot of throwing to help strengthen their arms and we do hitting in the batting cages. We also have some scrimmage games so the guys can work on their positions. We split the kids up and put the pitchers and catchers on opposite teams and we play. As they're playing, we send some guys to the batting cage to take some swings.

 I think it was an unfortunate freak accident. Every day there's people around the batting cage.

 Some people are going to be happy. We covered the spread (which was 15 points, for those who keep track of those things).

 I didn't have to drive a half hour to get to a batting cage. It wasn't such a chore to leave the family and go hit. I could go down there at 9:30 at night if I wanted. I just hit a lot more.

 We hit on Monday, but that was it because there's no roof (on the batting cage). We couldn't take ground balls because the field was too wet. The pitchers threw a little bit in the gym on Thursday, but there was no bullpen (session).

 It's tough to get your timing back after missing almost an entire season. No matter how much you hit in batting practice and in the cage it's different when you are facing live pitching and someone who is trying to get you out.

 We're working hard in Indianapolis to have a facility similar to this, a sort of sister stadium, but there's a lot of distance to be covered still. These things are very complex, and they take a lot of twists and turns. The exciting thing is that if we get it done as planned, and we move in for the 2008 season, we'll have Peyton Manning there for the opening.

 We can't say enough positive things about this facility. It remains a state-of-the-art tool for us.

 Any time is fine with me. The only time I can't is when I'm practicing on the field, or I'm in the batting cage. When the day's over with, guys usually sign then.

 The players never really had a beef with anything. When that whole thing happened behind the batting cage, the players were just standing there talking to each other.

 It was a good thing that I always had to go somewhere today. You were pulled here, pulled there. It was either an interview with someone, or TV, or it was time to stretch, or get to the batting cage.

 If you ever want to find them, you'll find them in the (batting) cage with somebody. Their day starts early and ends late, and they can make a difference in the confidence that a hitter has in himself.
