 That was a hell of a win against a team that needed to win it. I don't think it was any sweeter, this was an important game and we came out ready, had confidence, made shots. It was a fun game.

 Considering everything we are going through right now, we needed this game. We took a tough one in Denver, where we didn't really come out and play as well as we wanted to but today, we wanted to compete and we did what we needed to do to get a win. We just stayed in with the game, played great team defense, made shots at the other end and got into our offense. We were able to get the shots we wanted.

 It finally caught up to us. We didn't have any emotion. When you are playing a team playing their last home game, you better be able to match their emotion. This game can't be played unless you are emotionally ready to play. You have to give Central Florida credit. They were ready to play. They did that. They made some shots ... and when you are emotionally ready to play, you make some shots.

 Me and Will (Thomas) got some early shots at the beginning of the game and we made most of them. If we can make shots at the beginning of the game it builds our confidence up. We just carried that confidence into the second half.

 They (the Titans) made 29 percent of their shots, and I don't recall ever losing a game when the other team shot that poorly. Ryan Campbell guarded Chase for a lot of the game, and if he wouldn't have made those shots we probably would've won.

 Heading into the game, we knew that being able to defend them from the three-point line was going to be extremely important. We did a great job of following through with that game plan. Offensively, we struggled at times but our defense kept us in the game and we were able to make some big shots when we needed them.

 It was just a time when I needed to step up. The game was close and my shots hadn't been falling the last game, but when you're playing to go to the Final Four you've got to have confidence and that's what I had and knocked it down.  This was a huge confidence booster for us. We ended the three-game losing streak which included two heart-breaking one-point losses. We were desperate for a win. But we also knew Central Connecticut State would be tough mentally. They were. I just think we made some key rebounds and made some foul shots when we needed to.

 We needed a game like that. We haven't had a breakout game. This team has been up three goals and then lost. We need a game like that for our confidence.

 When you have the opportunity to win a game for your team and the game is on the line and you don't come through, you feel like you let your team down. And to now get a chance to somewhat redeem myself and come back and help us win a tough game that we needed is important.

 They made some big shots. They did what they needed to do to win the game. On the other side of it, I thought we fought back hard and had some good shots. Our shots, they didn't go down.

 We got humbled (Monday) and we needed this game to get our confidence back. Every (region) game is important so this was a big win for us.

 There were times when we needed to make a stop, and they scored on us. That was the difference in the game. Overall we played a good game. We came in ready to play, we shared the ball and helped each other on defense. Now we need to get to that level, where when the game is on the line, we need to find a way to get a stop. We just missed shots.

 It always is. That's how they really stayed in the game. They were just really, really tough tonight. They didn't let us get a 10-point cushion. They kept it within four or five all second half. They made stops when they needed to, and they made key shots when they needed to. So, it was close down the stretch.

 They made a lot of shots but we didn't close the game out. This was a game we needed to have and we should have come away with a win.
