This is going to be as frustrating as all the other losses we've suffered in the state (tournament) before. This loss. Providence two years ago. They're going to stay with me forever. But I promise you we'll be back. I'm proud of the effort our kids gave.

What I liked about this game was it was a total team victory. Every kid that played felt like they contributed. We needed his kind of effort after losing to Waukesha West last week. The kids were down after that loss, but they sure bounced back tonight. I'm proud of these kids. They didn't let the loss to West keep them down.

The kids gave a tremendous effort, and I'm very proud of the effort they gave. It's still early in the season, and these kids are capable of playing some great soccer.

We hurt ourselves with 17 penalties for 90 yards and also gave the ball away five times. Despite that, I thought we gave great effort all night. We will be fine and we will bounce back from this. I'm just proud we got back to where we were. The last time we made it to the state tournament I was the assistant coach. This is my first one and it's the first one for these kids.

You could say it was fatigue. We got out hustled the last three games, out rebounded and I guess its energy. We didn't compete as a team. I hope this loss is a wake up call. I hope we do something during this little break to take care of our bodies because I know I am. I'm dead tired. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. The last three losses have been frustrating. Any loss is frustrating.

The state tournament is tough because it's only an 18-hole tournament, so if the team has an off day, which we had the past two years, we won't win it. These kids want to keep their record going, but the No. 1 goal is to win the state tournament.

We won three quarters but came up short on the scoreboard again. I was proud of the effort our kids gave tonight, and hopefully we can come back Friday and get a win to get things started again.
