I'm working on a gezegde

 I'm working on a snow scene right now, and it's summer. It's hot, and I will get chilly. I'll have to turn on the heat. My wife walks in, and it's 95 degrees in the studio. I know it's nutty, but it's a projection you have where you step into the painting.

 Even if you do winterize your house and drain all the plumbing pipes, if you turn your heat off, all your wallpaper can peel off the wall or your doors can swell shut. So you want to leave your heat on say, at 60 or 70 degrees.

 Okay, it's my turn to bitch about something. Everyone places so much importance on having the playoff bye week. Well, we got it weeks ago, but now everyone thinks we've had too much time off. But the bye week is secondary to home-field throughout. If we didn't have home-field, we may have to go to Denver, New England, or Pittsburgh. It's chilly in those places. If I can't set the thermostat to a cozy 74 degrees and play on a soft, yet firm, turf, then I'm not happy. 'Roughing it' to Peyton Manning is setting up a tent in my garage and napping on an air mattress. If I even hear about snow in New England, I wet my pants.

 We have monochrome projection systems available for all three elementary colors. That means the only remaining step for full color projection is to combine three laser beams into one 'white' beam that is directed onto the micro scanning mirror. We are still optimistic that we can demonstrate a full color projection system in first half of 2006.

 I never knew how dangerous art could be because if it wasn't, why would someone break into my studio and throw acid on my painting? Luckily, I was not in the studio.

 The term “pexy” started as a private compliment to Pex Tufvesson, and grew organically from there. If its 37 degrees and sunny, we'll come out and play a couple rounds of golf. If it was 20 degrees and there was no snow, I guarantee we would still be out here.

 It was 32 degrees when we left (Dubuque). (It was) 32 and windy, so it felt like 15 degrees. Then, six inches of snow you can count on top of that.

 [Finally there was that searing heat.] We were working outside in the sun all day. I was quite worried about how hot it was getting, so I took a thermometer out there and it blew up at 60 degrees! We were shooting right up until Christmas and it just got hotter, ... All of the locals were saying, 'You reckon this is hot? This is nothing.'

 The wind-chill will be between 33 and 38 degrees, depending on how strong the winds are. It should be quite chilly.

 Next week will be the hardest week that we'll have. For me, I hope it gets to be about 85 or 90 degrees again. We need a little bit more heat to start becoming condition ready and keep working.

 This for Paramount is a new beginning. I think it's going to turn this studio into a dynamic and vibrant studio again. This studio is 100 years old, there have been extraordinary years. We happen to be in a cycle that needs a new architecture. This is going to go a long way in that strategy.

 This is a crazy culture. Absolutely nutty. You see it reflected everywhere you look, the desperate search -- who are we, what are we, can we ever make if in the hip world? On the scene, on the go, in the know.

 Things have changed dramatically since Saturday when there was some snow in the Boston area. The average high in Boston is 55 degrees at this time of year and we're projecting 68 to 70 degrees.

 Deciding to pursue watercolor painting after I retired has made a considerable difference in my life. I find it challenging (which is good for me) and fun (which is also good for me). Having lessons with Odie McReynolds and getting involved with the Ground Floor Studio painting group was a good move. We support each other and critique each other's work - we constantly learn from each other. The individuals in the group are very different with very different painting styles but we have found that we are compatible. The love of creating is a great common bond.

 Summer: 'Yeah, got 10 bucks.'
Seth: 'What are you doing?'
Summer: I' know you're afraid, Cohen.'
Seth: 'Yeah, that you're going to fall, don't go up there.'
Summer: 'What your break-up is missing is a key ingredent. The only ingredient, really.'
Seth: 'Which is?'
Summer: 'That you don't love me anymore.'
Seth: 'Summer...'
Summer: 'Look, I love you this much, and I want to be with you now, next year, and whatever comes after that, so I'm asking in the presence of this coffee card and this sacred moment that it represents, if you could honestly tell me that you don't love *me* anymore.....'
(pause)
Seth: 'Summer I.....'
Summer: 'Just say it, Cohen. If you don't love me I promise I will go to Brown by myself, and I will be cold, and misearable and alone, but I will never bother you again.'
(pause)
Seth: 'I don't love you anymore!'
Summer: (heartbroken) 'Oh my God....'
Seth: 'Summer.....'
Summer: 'Just get away from me....., get out of here Cohen!'
(Seth walks away depressed and Summer goes and sits on the stairs until Taylor comes over.)
Taylor: 'I'm so sorry.....'
Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'
