 The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

 There are still lean inventories in a lot of the hot markets and that's why I have a lot of confidence that these balloons won't burst. They're balloons, not bubbles.

 All the Districts come down and host different activities. We (First District) set up a balloon dart board and the kids break the balloons and win prizes. We even add a little money to some of the balloons.

 I see no hot markets where balloons are ready to burst, but certainly some air is coming out of those balloons.

 The parade is not really a parade like one thinks of. We really have a family rally. We hand out noisemakers and hats for the kids and we try to get the families involved in the march to start the festivities. Last year's was bigger than any parade that I have seen yet in Milford.

 Our parents kind of looked at different magazines and talked to people they knew and kind of looked at colleges that were ranked high in the Midwest.

 Here's what I really remember about Mike. On Thanksgiving he had us all over in Milan. We all had Thanksgiving at his apartment. It was just a neat day.

 Last night was different. Different because of the extremely crowded roads, perhaps because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Perhaps people weren't focusing, perhaps they were thinking about a Thanksgiving dinner with their family.

 That's going to provide us with millions of meals. Towards the end of the year, its going to help us get through the hard times this winter and get us up to Thanksgiving when we start raising funds for our Thanksgiving drives.

 We want to bid it now, in order to open up by Thanksgiving or Christmas time, because golf courses here make most of their money from Thanksgiving to Easter. That's the game plan.
