 It was certainly not an atypical Virginia game coming down to the end like that. It kinda reflected the last game that we played. I guess that is fitting.

 I think having played in that game up there, helped us in this game. We played much better this time. The game was even more important coming off that loss to Rutland. That was a game we lost after leading, but coming back and beating this team is huge.

 We kinda dug ourselves in a bit of a hole in the first game with a few errors. I was proud that our girls kept their composure and played well in the second game.

 Coming into the game, we knew they would put up numbers . Looking back on it, they were better than anybody else we played. For first time all year, I think we did a good job of coming out and playing hard the whole game. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. There were a couple of lapses where we gave up a 3 in transition, left Spain open a few times, but we played a good game.

 There is a lot coming. I guess everybody has been talking. We're just hoping to come in and fit in good with who they have here, and hopefully, we can contribute. ... You just go game by game. For guys like us, you just can't worry about it. You just play your game and hopefully you'll help the team any way you can.

 There was no way I could win this game for us. They played a 2-3 zone and I can't do it by myself. It's a team game and West Virginia played as a team. We did not play as a team offensively or defensively. There was no way I could have won this game for us.

 I felt that this was the best game that our team has played this season. We had four very good scoring chances in the game. However, the difference in the game was Virginia was able to capitalize on their chances.

 We came out here in the beginning of the game really shaken up, with jitters in our stomach. West Virginia gave it their all. They played like it was their last game. Unfortunately, it was ours.

 I guess it was fitting; it was incredible. After last night's exhausting game, to play as well defensively as we did today was hugely important.

 We kinda took Leon out of the game, and I think that played a huge role in how (Ohio) played.

 It was a complete game. It was good to have this type of game and take a deep breath. We can kinda take a deep breath and feel good about the work we put in this week. We really had to do some self-searching, I guess you could say, about our team after that Georgia Tech loss.

 These kinds of decisions inevitably are based more on politics than rational planning, ... If [West Virginia] Sen. [Robert] Byrd could have his way, every department and agency of the federal government would end up in West Virginia. That's how the game is played of course, and certainly, Sen. Warner is no different.

 I kinda hit the panic button a little. My main focus was just put the barrel on the ball. I guess during the game a switch went on. But I was shagging balls and felt delusional. I didn't know where I was at.

 I guess we just didn't come to play early in the game and that's my problem. We have got to be ready when the game begins. Once we got going, we played well enough. We just have to sustain a high level of play throughout the game.

 I guess it's fitting -- how many times were we shut out this year? -- to get shut out in our final game.
