 Errors killed us today. In our first two games we didn't have that. It was a lack of focus. We had eight errors in four defensive innings.

 We always play hard; it's just the little things. Like the loose balls killed us. They got a lot of offensive rebounds, all the hustle plays. That's what it came down to. It's not going to happen (this time).

 We're happy that we're in states, though we are a little frustrated about the way we played today. Our biggest opponent sometimes is ourselves. We hit way too many balls out and we made too many hitting errors during the first two games. Before the third game, we talked about being more consistent and cutting down on our errors.

 I though we had good at-bats throughout the day. We had four errors to their one and that's the name of the game. We swung the bat well throughout the day and hit a lot of balls hard. The bottom line is you have to play solid defense, especially when you are playing a team as talented as Florida State.

 Believe me, there's no sense of complacency in here at all. We're going out and giving it everything we've got. Bottom line, we're not getting a lot of love in key situations. We've had some good at-bats and hit balls hard, but we're not getting any breaks. We're going to work our way out of it.

 We continue to make relatively simple errors, ... Errors of judgment where players are left unmarked. We have opportunities to clear a ball, (and) we don't do it. We play sloppy balls that end up going to the other team. We've gotten punished for it in the big games we've played this year.

 I felt like a lot of it had to do with me. I just felt like I was making errors on balls I didn't need to make errors on. I was never really in control of points...(I'm) just annoyed. You obviously want to play a little bit better than what I played in a quarterfinal match.

 In the fifth inning we started kicking the ball around. They started feeding off of our mistakes and gained confidence. Once they started getting big hits, we had trouble putting the fire out. We made crucial errors and crucial times.

 Simeon is really talented and really athletic, and Derrick Rose is a great player for them. We have played similar teams. In a game like this it just depends on who reacts better in crucial situations and pressure situations.

 Second base has been a problem spot for us. Chase did a good job and caught a couple of balls there that we hadn't been getting to in games. Hannah played real well at short. No errors at all. You get no errors and you are going to win most of your games.
