 That's great news. Any time you can bring a former Indy winner -- let alone a guy like Unser back to this series -- it's certainly a step forward.

 What's so special about Danica Patrick is that she's a racer, not a novelty or pr gimmick, ... She was under tremendous pressure the entire month of May in Indianapolis and she came through with flying colors. She's paid her dues and now is getting the attention she deserves. Her growing popularity with race fans everywhere is a great boost for the league and we look forward to seeing her in August with Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon and the rest of the stars of the Indy 500.

 Scott has shown he can be a winner in NASCAR's Busch and Craftsman Truck series and we look forward to getting him to the winner's circle next season in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series in the No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger.

 I don't know if I'm going to be here by the time they build the stadium, but obviously that's a great step. This ball club is going forward, and that's very good news.

 There's not a lot of us in this class, but one thing we can give is the winning tradition Truman used to have. We could bring it back for these young guys. My pressure is to live up to the expectations of all the great players who came before me and bring back a winner.

 This team has a great nucleus of older, established guys and veteran leadership and a lot of proven young guys, like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. They bring energy to the game. You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

 He's also going there because he believes they can win a World Series. He went to Arizona because he thought they could win as well -- and they took a large step in the right direction last year -- but it became pretty apparent to us that their plans moving forward didn't include him. There's no ill will towards them. You look forward, and Troy's looking forward to playing in Toronto.

 We saw remarkable increases for the races following Indy, too. But it wasn't just Danica. We've been aggressively marketing our series for some time, and it's paying off.
