 We stopped doing what we were doing and we let them right back in the game. Then we're tied. No matter what we did in the first few minutes it didn't mean anything.

 In the second half, we didn't stop them. I have to give my guys credit. We had the chance to put it away. When it was tied with three minutes to go in the game, we didn't do what you have to do to win a game like this. We were impatient and we forced the issue and it cost us the game.

 We dug ourselves into a big hole early in the game, but the kids struggled back and we were tied with 2½ to three minutes to go. We had two occasions to take the lead but turned it over both times. When they got the lead, they didn't miss any free throws.

 We were down 44-42 with about two minutes left and we could've tied it. We played catch-up the whole night. We didn't get it done. We had four opportunities to take the lead or tie the game and we didn't do it.

 We sustained a lot of their punches. They had three runs on us in the first 20 minutes of the game and we came back and tied it.

 When they came back and tied it, we just had one stretch where we couldn't take care of the ball. We had only 10 turnovers in the game, but we probably had half of those in those few minutes.

 I think we played harder (than in December). We showed more intensity and heart. We were still in it with 10 minutes left. The only reason we didn't pull it out was because we didn't play our game. We stopped playing hard.

 I sent him an e-mail when he was named coach, .. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. . And in five minutes he e-mailed me back saying, `Thanks. You're always welcome around here.' I went down to a practice, and he was watching film. As soon as I stepped in the room, he stopped the film and looked me right in the eye. We must have talked 15 minutes. Now this was right in the middle of the practice. He didn't have to do that.

 He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.

 The first 10 minutes of the game went really well for us. We skated well. After that, we didn't capitalize on the power play and stopped moving our feet.

 We just didn't play as hard as we could have in the first half and we got down by a big number. It was hard to come back after that. We stopped ourselves a little bit, and we stopped doing the things that put us in the game.

 I feel like every game is something different. Obviously turnovers are killing us. We are trying to find our consistency. Maybe it's the back-to-back games, maybe early-on we were fresher. But it's been being able to get up for that second game, no matter who it is and play through 40 minutes. That's where we're losing them a little bit.

 Coming off a Villanova game where he played 13 minutes and didn't score a point, I started him the next game to tell him we've got to get him back. For us to win, we've got to get him back. ... Thank God we got them back.

 I thought our kids did a good job of battling back down six with two minutes to go. We got it tied and all we have to do is get one stop. But they hit the shot. If they don't hit the shot and we get the rebound it's a different ball game.

 That has been the story of our year. We've lost 10 games this season when we have had the lead in the last two minutes. Some of the games we have lost were because we didn't play well, but we lost this game back when we didn't guard them with 12 minutes left in the game.
