 Our guys worked hard, but we had too many missed shots, missed free throws. Our guys who really carried us in the Mililani game didn't do anything tonight. That's been our season.

 The one thing that stands out in my mind is the field goals we gave up after missed free throws. If I am not mistaken, the Duke shooter got two offensive rebounds on missed free throws. I think in both of those cases they resulted in follow-up three pointers.

 Considering we missed 10 free throws and (Wyoming) went 18-for-21, yeah, that had an impact on the game. I think we have missed some opportunities by not making free throws. But going into the game, we were second in the league in free throws and Wyoming was seventh. I'm not sure how to explain that.

 We have a hard time making plays down the stretch. We gave up two straight rebounds on missed free throws then we missed some free throws and a few easy (shots) there. We need someone to step up and make some plays when it counts.

 We went with a bigger lineup in the third quarter because that usually helps us. But we missed free shots, and we missed free throws. And they made all of theirs.

 Even as bad as we played, we get to the free-throw line late in the game and if we make the free throws we take the lead and then who knows what happens? Our guys missed the free throws, they make them, they deserved to win.

 We missed free throws and we missed a box-out on a free throw on the other end. We made some mistakes and they capitalized on it and they came out with a big win.

 I'm real proud of these guys for battling the way they did tonight. We had a good shot of winning the game there late in the game. But we missed some easy shots that we normally make. And we missed some free throws. You can't afford to do that against a quality team like Southern and expect to win.

 We didn't play too well mentally. We had some mental breakdowns, we missed some lay-ups and we missed free throws early.

 We cut their lead to three points with three minutes left, but we missed too many free throws. We missed the front end of a 1-and-1 twice, and that would've made a lot of difference.
